yes. asura came from india. you are right. but most asian religions came from india. so there are indian influences everywhere in middle and eastern asia.

Oookay, bitching ahead:

First yes I know you told me I'd be disappointed with the evos of Obakekoji, but I'll still complain cuz I can :3 But I do have my reasons XD So I'll say everything in detail even though I doubt you'll ever edit itX3
Okay first I dislike the connected masks, I think it looked better when they were separated, although I really like the added horms since it fits with the rest of the designXD Also I like the fact you reused the sad/angry/happy face concept eggxecutor and dodrio share since it is a good concept and nintendo fails to reuse it XD
Also about its necklace thing, I think it looked much, MUCH better when it was like its fiery halo thing, now everything is wrong about itXD first it doesnt fit with the rest of the design, both because it doesnt have anything sprity/lanterny and because it doesnt have the same look/pattern to it as the other solid pieces. I think the shoulder pieces and the general V shape also makes it look a bit like a knight's armor, and i dont think that thats what this design is going for so... yeah.
next up is the yellowness, although I know that first evo was red and second was orange, i still think that the whole yellow/brown color scheme really takes away from the whole idea of a ghost/fire spirit/lantern.
now I wont complain about the actual bracelets, I think that they actually bring something that actually connects to its past evos more than simple rings like it used to have. Now the big bracelts kinda makes it look like a candle in a way, the big fire on its head, combined with the while on its face and the big bracelts on its tail really gives it a candly look when you look beyond the four armed spirit and I think you could exploit that so it would look more fiery and more like the lantern obakesXD but as I said no yellow... just... no yellow.
One thing I just love though is the spiked fiery halo on his back/head, the fact it has cultural meanings AND looks damn nice is really awesomeXD Altough I think I liked it with 5 flames more than just 3.

Aside from that, I think you did an exelent job drawing the fire, it really looks... fiery XD and its very vibrant and really awesome 8D Also the whole halo looks really nice, now it actually doesnt look like a stick and has shape to it which is nice XD

Geesh thats freaking long comment. I think you should make some spacing between one point to the other.

Because you are letting the designer know your complaint , you should make it comfortable to look at read.

Recently you have been designing pokemon like creature, its nice man keep it up.

yeah. thanks. but i really should be drawing other stuff. you'd know that i'm more random than drawing something again and again.
but since it's getting popular, i'm just going to continue with it.
